Design System & Component Library

Behavioral Components, Assets and Styles

Phone.com

Phone.com’s browser legacy system was to be retired. I was tasked to develop a fluid framework and library of reusable, scalable assets that would allow for faster page construction, rapid prototyping and quicker updates down the line. While replacing outdated, confusing interfaces in pieces on the front and back-ends, Phone.com continued to grow their offerings unencumbered, with AI enhanced features like Virtual Reception, Voice-to-Text Call Recordings and AI generated Call Summaries and Action Items.

This design initiative was a large scale project that allowed Phone.com’s web-based system the scalability necessary for the inclusion of new, more complex features. The uniqueness or complexity of any upcoming feature would be met with confidence, now having a scalable component library that was vast and rubbery enough to accommodate future integrations.

UX Simulation

There was a huge opportunity lost on Phone.com sales of device accessories. These products had been treated without real consideration, and discoverable only by a manual search by the user. The solution was implementing a cross-selling sales approach.
